Basic Information About BTS

Welcome to the pages of Biblical Theological Seminary in the Czech Republic. The main part of our mission is to train new pastors and mission workers for the church in the Czech Republic.

BTS opened in September 2007 with the enrolment of seven students. Our one-year and two year programs are focused on three areas: academic, ministry, and discipleship. In the academic area, students study a broad spectrum of theological disciplines. A large number of teachers from Czech and from abroad come to teach their specialties. The ministry area consists of 1) mission work in Pelhrimov where we are striving to plant a local church, and 2) ministry in churches around the Czech Republic. In the area of discipleship, each student has a weekly meeting with an assigned local faculty member. There are also other informal meetings among students and teachers.
